Pilot is an Experimental 5-Day Junior Film Camp for 8-13 year-olds designed to get their hands on REAL film-making.

Based in North Tonbridge and run by the team of industry professionals, it's a carefully crafted project for creative young children, teaching them the latest and current film production methods.

As Film & TV industry professionals, we often work on short features (pilots) testing audience reaction with a view to the production of a series. Pilot is our passion project, we are building something new and exciting, together with your talented children in Kent.

Our Vision

Pilot Film camp is designed to be personal. To work, stories that will end up on screen will require personal reflection so we decided to limit the camp capacity to 30 children, so we can three small groups with subdivided activities ensuring each and every child gets one to one time with us and has the chance to try everything we offer.

We also would like to highlight the importance of commitment to the whole week please. This is a structured (and fun) five-day event, that is geared towards the ambitious goal of making three films.

Five days isn't long enough time to finish the full cycle of production in real life, but it'll give each child a taster of the exciting and busy atmosphere of a film set. Each of our young crew members will play a vital part! We are excited to be able to offer this new and stimulating camp to the children - who will benefit from it in so many ways.

Our Local Kent Community

If you are a local West Kent / East Sussex based business and would like to sponsor our camp places, please get in touch. All sponsorship money will go into the Pilot Scholarship. This will pay fully for a place or subsidise a child whose family doesn't have the financial opportunity to pay for camps.

Check out out first Sponsor - Tonbridge Old Fire Station.

You will be heading the competition, matched to the winning child's family, and get a special mention in the opening  credits in our Final Film.

Your business will be featured on the front page of our website. Your local support will be extremely appreciated, and this will also create excellent marketing opportunities for your business.
